Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will launch 15 models of 3G mobile phones in China when telecom carriers in the country initiate 3G commercial services officially.
The 15 3G cellphone models are part of the company’s new products in the second quarter of 2009. In detail, products based on China’s homegrown TD-SCDMA standard include B7702C dual-mode handsets, digital TV handsets, multimedia handsets, and fashionable handsets.

Products customized for China Unicom include S7520U HSDPA-supported high-end multimedia mobile phones, online movie, Internet, and music-supported mobile phones. And mobile phones tailored for China Telecom include the W709, M609, W239, as well as F539 models.

Apart from 3G mobile phones, Samsung also launched netbooks and network interface cards used for 3G networks in recent days. The company will unveil more terminal products suitable for the Chinese market as the country’s 3G mobile telecom market expands, noted an executive for Samsung.
